Refund & Returns Policy

At Lee Warehouse, we aim to provide quality products and excellent customer service. This policy outlines the circumstances under which returns, exchanges, cancellations, and refunds may be accepted.

This policy does not limit or exclude any rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or any other applicable New Zealand law.

ORDER CANCELLATION

Orders may only be cancelled before they have been dispatched.

If an order is cancelled due to a change of mind before dispatch, Lee Warehouse may approve the cancellation at its sole discretion.

Approved refunds for online orders will be issued to the original payment method, less any non-refundable third-party payment processing fees incurred by Lee Warehouse through the payment provider.

Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation is no longer possible. Any request will be treated as a return request and will be subject to this Refund & Returns Policy.

CHANGE OF MIND

Lee Warehouse does not normally accept returns or exchanges due to a change of mind.

If, at our sole discretion, a change of mind return is approved, the following conditions may apply:

A restocking fee of up to 20%.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.

Any non-refundable payment processing fees incurred by Lee Warehouse may be deducted from the refund.

The item must be unused, in its original condition, and returned with all original packaging and accessories.

FAULTY PRODUCTS

If a product is faulty, damaged, or does not meet the guarantees provided under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, please contact us as soon as possible.

Depending on the nature of the issue, Lee Warehouse may choose to:

Repair the product;

Replace the product; or

Provide a refund where appropriate under the Consumer Guarantees Act.

If the return or exchange is due to a confirmed product fault, Lee Warehouse will cover all reasonable shipping costs associated with the return or replacement.

Customers must provide sufficient evidence of the fault, including clear photos and/or videos where requested, to assist with assessing the claim.

INSPECTION OF GOODS

Please inspect your order within 3 days of delivery.

If you discover any transit damage, missing parts, or incorrect items, you must notify us by email within this period and provide supporting photographs.

Failure to notify us within this inspection period may affect our ability to process certain claims. However, this requirement does not limit your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

Unless required by law, the following items are non-returnable:

Pre-order items;

Clearance or clearance sale items;

Display or ex-display items;

Gift vouchers;

Products specifically marked as non-returnable.

Returns may also be declined if products are:

Returned incomplete;

Missing accessories or parts;

Damaged through customer misuse;

Not in their original condition (unless due to a product fault).

RETURN PROCESS

Before returning any item, please contact our customer service team to obtain return instructions.

Customers should not return products without prior approval.

For items valued over NZD $75, we recommend using a tracked shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as Lee Warehouse cannot accept responsibility for returns lost in transit.

Customers may also return approved items to our Auckland store during business hours.

REFUNDS

Once the returned item has been received and inspected, refunds or exchanges are generally processed within 3–5 business days.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

The following are generally non-refundable unless required by law:

Original shipping charges;

Third-party payment processing fees incurred by Lee Warehouse;

Installation, assembly, or other third-party service fees already provided;

Restocking fees where applicable.

If only part of an order is returned, only the approved refundable amount relating to the returned item(s) will be refunded.

LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS

If you have not received your refund after the stated processing period, please:

Check your bank account again;

Contact your credit card provider or bank, as processing times may vary;

Contact us if you still have not received your refund.

CONSUMER GUARANTEES ACT 1993

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

Where goods fail to meet the guarantees required by the Act, customers are entitled to the remedies provided by New Zealand law.

FAIR TRADING ACT 1986

Lee Warehouse complies with the Fair Trading Act 1986.
